In any time during law school are law students instructed on how to go about proving the defendant's innocence? Is this a concept that is stressed in the law school process? I get that an attorney will work to refute the prosecution's charges with witnesses placing the defendant at other locations during the time of the crime and the like, but I am not sure that counts as "proving innocence" as much as refuting guilt. I have not thought of that concept before. Interesting take.
I am not a lawyer, and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
