for. Every city in America has power, water and gas workers who are out in this stuff every day. When any of those go out the workers are out there until they get it fixed. They don't have the option of rescheduling or moving to a more agreeable location.

As long as you layer, keep your head and feet warm and dry you can stay out in the cold for quite a while. I was at the Indy playoff game back in the 90's and we were there at 8am for tailgating.

Sking, hiking, mountain climbing and camping are all forms of entertainment that regularly take place in this type of weather.
