to me, also the game most responsible for our upward trajectory in the years afterward. Even with the setback of 2005, the 2003 team and that game in particular jarred something open that led to key recruiting wins in 04 and 05 that led directly to the 2007/08 successes.

That was a generational victory. I was in my early 20s at the time and we had never beaten Nebraska in my lifetime. I remember seeing senior citizens on the field afterwards crying their eyes out. It was a beautiful night.
