Over MU and MU had just beaten them head to head two weeks before the decision. It happens, Bama is playing better football now than FSU because they have their starting QB, is it fair? Probably not, but is Bama a better overall team with a better shot at wining the 4-team tourny than FSU? I think so, and if they are going with the 4 best teams right now, then they probably got it right. But it can be ‘not fair’ and the ‘right choice’ at the same time.
