Not a lot of information in that article to support an informed opinion. Was the suspect a dangerous criminal? Did the cops adequately announce their presence and intentions or did they just kick in the door? I have no idea whether these police tactics were justified. I suspect had the Mr. Guy answered his door with his cell phone in his hand and the cops, thinking it was a gun shot and killed him or killed innocent bystanders, there would have been no charges filed. The Qualified Immunity doctrine should be abolished.
