all worked hard to bring honor and riches to pagan rulers they worked for. That is not ungodly. They were not wrong to do so.

It is not wrong to take pride in the Missouri Tigers, in one's family, in one's country, in one's work. As long as it is not an ungodly pride that worships things of this earth above things of God.
