A guy in my fraternity invited me to go squirrel hunting

with him one time. When my father had taken me squirrel hunting we used shotguns. But this guy said they used .22s. He said to aim for behind their ear and it would go into their brain and drop them right now.
That seemed a little crazy to me. But we weren't there long when a squirrel took off, jumping tree to tree and he immediately ripped off a shot & dropped the squirrel. I'll be damned if he didn't hit it right where he had told me.
I was impressed. That squirrel was moving and had been moving up and down quite a bit with the small limbs at the edges of the branches as it jumped from tree to tree.
I guess those country boys get a lot of practice, but still.
