One is to show they are sick of the situation
One is to drum up some support
One is to bring up some anti Israel sentiment, a they know Israel will kill a bunch of citizens.

They probably want to see how USA will react as well

I think they are starting to sense that politics of USA is slowly changing to be less interventionist in general
