with people. Some accused me of "changing" the scenario. I found that amusing. It was merely a variable introducing a possibility you could not know with certainty at the time but needed to consider in your decision.
Four outcomes:
Absolute win - save family, no children in the car.
Absolute loss - allow family to be raped/killed, no children in car.
Mixed results- spare family, kill children of the rapist/murderer.
Mixed results - save killer's kids, allow family to be raped/killed.
You only know for sure after the fact. That is not changing the scenario. That is real life and the reason for a variable. And the record shows who truly struggled with making such a decision.
