Keep in mind, football isn't like other sports... There's far more competition ($) for recruiting the top players, and that's exacerbated by the fact that – in football – you need *dozens* of good players to be competitive, especially in a league like the SEC.
Mizzou's "NIL" purchasing power is probably 25-30 nationally, yet bottom 5 of the SEC.

There's no way we'll be able to out-recruit (out-bribe) any of those programs going forward.
It's what I've been saying all along... "NIL" is going to get worse, not better, unless some big-time donors put us on par with the schools listed above (and that seems unlikely).
