The argument seems to be that because religious fanaticism is so high in the Islamic community, whenever there is excess wealth, it leads to increased or more sophisticated attacks. That's one of the complaints about dealing with Iran - when they have additional oil revenues, for example, they use them to promote proxy regimes to foment terror. Is that real or is it misinformation?
