You have to live with the results of those choices. Now I will say that college tuitions are absolutely ridiculous. As the overall value of the education received goes down, the tuitions continue to go up. And I do see that some really hard working kids from bad situations would need some financial help. The question I have is how many of these loans are from kids who could afford state schools or junior college, but have chosen more elite schools that they can’t afford, taken loans to attend and now expect relief? No.
