"The 2nd of Missouri's blue chip recruits....unchallenged as the state's best prep guard in 1978-79....named one of the top 50 prep stars in the nation by Basketball Weekly...also chosen to the Converse All Stars...Played in Texas-USA All Star game....received DiRenna Award as the most outstanding player in the Kansas City Area....an unanimous all-state pick....mentioned on list of outstanding prep stars by Street and Smith magazine...set school record with 2,176 career points....shot 55% from field and 72% from line....top games were 50 points (on 21 of 33 shooting) and 22 assists."
