So yep, I sincerely hope he knows what he's doing.
I'm basing my support of Garcia based on what I've seen on film and his pedigree.
And after seeing last year's sample size with Brady, yep, my humble (??) opinion is we need to have a better arm in the pocket and a much better vertical passing game.
That isn't "hating" on anyone - it's just a fan using his eyes and making his own evaluation.
I just want to see us win this year - and I would hate to waste an elite defense (and it does look elite) by not putting more points on the board.
If Brady is the answer and we're able to have a vertical passing game and win games with him at the helm, awesome.
I didn't like the Gates hire (and now I love the guy - he made Mizzou basketball fun and must watch TV again) so it's not like I'm infallible. Close but not quite. :-)
Want to see us score more points, have an offense that's close as good as our defense, make full use of all of the weapons we have in our wide receiver room, and win 9 games.
If all of that happens and Cook is the QB, I'm one happy camper.
But if it looks like that's not happening early in the season, I hope the guy that is making $6 M more than I am
makes a switch - he's got some people and options in that QB room this year that he didn't have last year.
