skill set, regardless of whether your offense has limitations or not
running the QB often allows you to get lighter boxes by formation and still run the ball, keep the backside of the shotgun run game honest, etc.
Jayden Daniels at LSU ran for almost 900 yards last year, Drake May at UNC ran for 700, Anthony Richardson and Dorian Thompson-Robinson ran for 650, Jackson Dart ran for 600. Those are guys that can all throw the football.
NOT running your QB when they are able to run well is bad coaching.
