rivalry than MU will.
They'll "win" more often (in quotes b/c it's illegitimate, but still a win on paper).
They'll need the revenue more, due to their soon-to-be mid-major conference affiliation.
And they need *rivals* more than we do. We have Illinois, Arkansas, and soon Oklahoma as major rivals. Plus, we'll play teams like Texas, Kentucky, and Tennessee up to *twice* per season.
Meanwhile, KU's only major rival will be K-State. The "Sunflower Showdown", lol, which no one gives a fvck about outside of the tiny little state of Kansas.
We'll be playing Texas, they'll be playing Texas-Christian.
We'll be playing Oklahoma, they'll be playing OK-State.
We'll be playing Florida, they'll be playing UCF.
We don't need the rivalry at all, in fact it's against MU's best interests... a pure gift to KU.
