Leniency than can be realistically justified would be a lifetime ban for Self, vacation of all results since 2016, and a two year postseason ban. Less than that would be simply absurd, particularly given the long delays which have allowed ku to keep cheating and Self to keep coaching. There is literally zero real programs in the nation where Self would still be allowed by the institution to coach other than ku.
