how many did the FBI find after he claimed to have given all classified documents back?

Among the 60,000 documents he took with him were 270 +/- "classified" documents (from what I can gather from the narrative).

The 1st group of 15 boxes he gave back when asked to had 197 classified documents (top secret, sccret, confidential, and no foreign eyes, how many of each not defined because he gave them back when asked)

The 2nd group of 38 "classified documents" were returned by his lawyers after receipt of the subpoena with a letter stating an exhaustive search had found them

the 3rd group - the ones the indictment is based on - had 31, 17 of which were "top secret", 12 "secret", and 2 not stamped but found to fall in the categories above.

So, of the 60,000 documents he collected, 270 or so were classified, 239 were returned by Trump upon request, they found 31 more in the boxes they confiscated from him in his store room and office.
