Trump was told Nixon got $18M for giving back a few classified documents...so trump figured, what the hell, i'll take a ton of them and get way more than $18M?

Could it be that simple as to why he took so much and refused to give them back? It seems like something he would do.

Between trying to make money off it and being able to brag about having them it makes sense to me.
