And it is not just the us saying so. Out of 193 countries only 13 countries Guatemala, Paraguay, Belize, Haiti, Honduras, Palau, Nauru, Marshall Isl, Tuvalu, St Lucia, St Kitts, St Vincent recognize Taiwan as a sovereign nation.


For comparison with other states not recognized internationally: 139 countries recognize that Palestine is its own country. Kosovo, a terrorist state in the Balkans, has over a hundred recognitions. Western Sahara has 44.


Taiwan has a paltry 13.
