I don't think a school who's success level in athletics has basically fallen off a cliff in the past 10 years should be focused on anything but a return to competitive sports.

If competitive athletic funding were included with the recent AD and coaching hires no one would say a word until these people succeeded or flopped on their own merits.

Not funding competitively and having horrible athletics leads to unrest and discussions such as these.
