People can only look at what the situation is, what it's likely going to continue to be then make a decision if it is worth their time and money to follow or support.
The lack of funding for these Mizzou sports in comparison to conference competition and it's fairly predictable results have taken a toll on the fanbase and it's level of commitment.
Throw in now an undeniable trend for hiring only women and minority coaches when, same as with the funding, your main competition is absolutely not doing this to anywhere near the same degree.
Your time and your dollars I guess to do with which what you will.
