RE: How would you rate the accomplishments of trump versus

Trump inherited a good economy from Obama and managed not to screw it up. He tried but failed to kill the Affordable Health Care Act which millions of Americans depended on, so he avoids criticism there that he should have received. His best move was to lower the marginal tax rate on business from a far too high 36% but bringing it back to 20% was too low.

Biden was in a hopeless situation taking over after the covid economy shutdown and the huge exit from the workforce of millions of boomers and the resulting inflation due to the imbalance of goods and wealth. Pressing his progressive agenda at that time was idiotic and a poor political move (but it underscores how badly our politicians from both parties are when it comes to lip service to the extreme elements of their party). So he gets a D. Trump gets an F for his demagoguery and potential to do real constitutional damage to the republic. But that's not why I call Trump an idiot; I call him an idiot because he says idiotic things. The fact that he is sometimes prevented from doing idiotic things doesn't make him less of an idiot.
