Of the game would leave Ty Cobb off their all-time 25 man roster.
I never met Ty Cobb. I know him by reputation and his record.
I've never met Donald Trump. I know him by his reputation and his record.
For both men the record is far more important than the reputation concocted by an adversarial press.
Also for the record, their accomplishments on the field or in office were nothing short of spectacular.
It is the record that deserves recognition.
