covid. when he played games he should not have in hopes of developing his program. take that year out and he's 26-14 overall, 16-11 in the b12, with a 2023 championship.

bill snyder didn't leave a bare cupboard, but it was thin. when skylar thompson got hurt, it was left to a true freshman to fail, will howard. who wouldn't take howard as a junior qb this year?

k-state will be favored to make a run at this year's b12 championship again. we'll see how klieman manages success. he did that pretty well at north dakota state.

and btw, y'all bring up that lsu bowl game way more than we do.
