If he appears to have high potential based on his track record, then he will have other offers at the P5 level.
So, why would he choose MU knowing that (1) the conference is loaded with powerhouses that have far more "NIL" money, and (2) he'll be fired in a few years if he doesn't defy the odds by going above .500 ?
The fact is, no one's going to have Pinkel-level success here unless there are major reforms that level the playing field for schools like ours. It was already an uphill battle, now it's just a brickwall.
