Good question. The Evangelical Church is actually very large but there are different branches of it: fundamentalism, Charismatic, Pentecostal, also the Faith Promise Group. Catholicism is not evangelical but most practicing Catholics are just as fundamental minded as the fundamentalist. Mormons are not classified as evangelical but they are very Evangelical and they are mostly conservative. The faith promise group were very strong Trump supporters. The fundamentalist are actually the ones that are not as likely to be political.
