I really do not know if this is really true. The vast majority of the people in this country have no idea what is meant by evangelical and that means majority of church goers as well. There are issues that concerns that most church goers are concerned about and some things surprisingly that are not a concern. A lot of those things that they are concerned about is because the Republican party has told them to be concerned about and like most people they follow along to be part of the group.
