But if not him, if Horn is the answer, great!

Brady Cook seems like a great kid but he is the one I’m not openly rooting for to get the starters job back.

Based on last years sample size, I think we need an upgrade at QB.

I think it’s possible to be rooting for Garcia without rooting against Horn.

It does make me pause that Drink couldn’t get Horn on the field more than 1 series of plays last year - against New Mexico State.

Take a look at my posts from last season - MULTIPLE posts citing examples of true freshmen playing as a freshman QB - and doing well. I was openly rooting for Born to play ahead of Brady as a true freshman.

Especially with the NCAA rules that say you can play 4 games without losing your redshirt. And when Drink was asked about not playing Horn, he alluded to Horn not grasping the playbook.

So yep - that does make me pause a bit.

I was wanting Horn to play as a true freshman.
