but every top 10 prospect in ks had multiple P5 offers (and at least half list Mizzou offers), so it's not like they're total scrubs. now who knows how committable those offers were, or how hard they were being recruited, or how many "real" options they had, but the point is they had options to go elsewhere and 6 of them decided to stay in-state.
now if you want to compare top 10s in states like kansas or Iowa or Utah to states like Texas or Georgia or Mississippi or California, yeah it's no contest. kid #100 in texas is probably better than the top rated kid in many states, so this isn't intended to be a comparison of talent. just an illustration of where the top talent in each state goes.
