better society". That's your disconnect. The "no govt not tax" crowd isn't looking to any centrally-planned "society" in defense of its positions; it is arguing a priori that taxes are theft and that govt disrupts (does not help) economic activity.
The reason you keep going back to your unfair question is because you are stuck on wanting a centrally-planned solution. You are never going to get one, and that will never be the point of the arguments furthered by the "no govt not tax" crowd.
