He has hosted dinners for Russians, on record that he wants Russia to have more influence in the US.
He was also in regular contact with Russian government personnel and even hosted dinners for them. He's on record as saying we should let Russia do what it wants. He's a "non-interventionist."
He was in regular contact with Russian spy Maria Buttina. Widely reported and from the Wall Street Journal:
"George O’Neill Jr., a Rockefeller heir, has now been confirmed as the “U.S. Person 2” mentioned in government affidavits describing a second contact that Maria (sometimes spelled Mariia) Butina was talking to within the United States, The Wall Street Journal reported."
He's lucky he's not in jail for treason.
But sure, use him as a source that pretends to be objective.
