This board and we have had an interesting if disappointing discussion below.
Might I suggest that if you are foursquare with idiots like ashtray, swamppig, and pickle about property rights, that you never again suggest that a private school or private business not be allowed to have Drag queen shows for elementary schoolchildren.
That shouting fire in a crowded theater is perfectly OK. That Klansman riding on horseback through a black neighborhood screaming and firing legal guns into the air at 3 o'clock in the morning is perfectly OK with you.
What you're suggesting as legal, moral and ethical has implications far beyond the examples we can come up with here this morning.
Yes, we need government. We need rules we need regulations and we need punishment for breaking them. The question that the absolutists (and you?) have a problem with is how much government.
Another example for you, should a private stockbroker be permitted to sell a hot stock to his friends, but not to… Republicans?
