And our constitutional republic is no matter who gets elected very little in your day to day life actually changes.

Sure policy decisions can cause inflation. And wars can cause mass problems or lack of national protection can cause attacks, but ultimately on a day to day level nothing will change.

And when big problems occur the majority of the people work together to correct them.

Unlike a dictator you really have two years to ever accomplish anything and a system in place to make it work slow.
