I think his signing signaled the end of Hardman's time in KC. That means if Hardman were smart he would play his ass off these last ten weeks so someone else signs him to a nice contract.

If the Chiefs were smart they would use a top-three pick every year on a WR to keep Mahomes surrounded by talent. If they do that they will never have to pay a big price for any one receiver.
