Inflation was driven by demand outstripping during the heady first days of what we saw as Pandemic end. The condition was turbo-charged a bit by supply chain issues and high transport prices. Corporate malfeasance in hiking prices under the guise that oh gee it was just inflation only made it worse. It is a global pandemic (see pan) and global economy.

Blaming Biden is weak politics.
