Trump is much larger and in generally good health. The Donald would bear hug him and whisper soothing words in his ear and that it would be "Absolutely magical" for both of them. Putin would look around to see if anyone was watching. If the coast was clear and in the dark in their tiny damp cell in a prison outside of Lausanne Switzerland, Vladdy would nod and whisper, "Da."
They would develop a strong personal union while in prison. When they are released, the secret video the guards arranged with the GRU would be leaked and The Donald gives a speech, saying, "In prison and like the Greeks, it's only gay "If you're the receiver, not that there's anything wrong with that. Men understand each other. It can still be fabulous. I have enormous respect for Mr. Putin."
On the other side of the world and coming home from a cabinet meeting, Putin's armored car explodes in a gigantic bomb planted inside the heavily armored vehicle. The blast vaporizes him, his second mistress and his three closest bodyguards.
Donald records a message would speak in stilted language and loud tones that, "The world has lost a tremendous leader. Absolutely tremendous. What a terrible and tragic loss." People in the US and the world do not agree, except for in Russia, where there is a huge state funeral.
On the way home from yet another stump speech from a recently closed steel plant outside Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania, Melania tells the Donald that she has filed for divorce, but that it would be OK, because he'd always have Mar-A-Lago, the pageants and Ivanka.
Russia blames Kazakhstan for the assassination the day after the gigantic state funeral, saying it was instigated by NATO and the US and immediately bombs Nur-Sultan with missiles. They begins their ground invasion from a staging area outside Omsk. The invasion force is comprised of three BTGs of mostly Siberians, a few dozen ex-prisoners, one division of Belarusians, a three-hundred man specialist operating attachment from Wagner Group and a one-hundred man platoon of Ukrainian Special Operation veterans who've lost a limb or have brain damage but are itching for the fight. All of the groups reach the capital in two days. Kazakhstan, having been completely taken by surprise immediately agrees to form a new government with a Russian dupe as president and FSB operatives in the new Duma.
Back in the Kremlin, military leaders watch the invasion. When victory is secured, they all stand and cheer together and sing the Russian national anthem while saluting their flag. Victory is finally in hand. A few colonels and majors quietly sob in the background. As they leave their ready room, one three-star general mutters to another, "We're back." The vodka flows hard that night.
