to a wolf than a deer.
I mean it's 'Wolf of Wall Street', not Deer of Wall Street.
And people go deer hunting for sport, not wolf hunting.
But again, I wasn't making that comparison, nor do I think black people are analogous to wolves.
I was only comparing the relative perceived threat from a statistical standpoint.
One last point...
About 10 years ago, IIRC, Mark Cuban made a remark about "walking to the other side of the street" to avoid people he perceived as potentially dangerous, whether that's an apparent gangbanger or tatted-up meth addict/skin head. Cuban didn't articulate the point well and therefore drew criticism for it, but the point he was trying to make is true for all people. Everyone, regardless of skin tone, will respond to perceived threats in a more cautious/vigilant manner, and in this case there is a statistical basis for it. Whether it's fair or not, it's the reality of the situation.
