Also, you tend to do this a lot. You focus on the fruit but not the limbs, trunk, or roots of the poisonous tree.
Ashtray is correct that the bigger problem is that the federal govt got into the business of student loans. Its participation has created quite a bit of undesired outcomes. Shouldn't we focus on that issue as much if not more so than the fed govt writing off some of its debt?
This latest debt forgiveness plan is the fruit, the govt providing student loans is the limb, the department of education is the trunk, and taxation and fiat currency are the roots. Where do you draw the line?
