Government can justify just about anything in the name of security and pretty much be assured that claim gets swallowed hook, line and sinker.
I also find myself skeptical when things 18 months old magically morph into taking us to the edge of destruction. My first reaction to any alarm from the federal government is “how does this help those in charge maintain and expand power.
And believe it or do not believe it, doesn’t matter to me who is the Holy One in the Oval Office when this happens.
