pick a fight over a relatively innocuous subjective assertion that strict gun control laws didn't seem to be helping in... Chicago, Calirfornia and Brooklyn, and gave some links to a few stories in the news.

That hardly seems to be a post that should make even you get your panties in a wad, given that you are against gun control in general.

But in this case it seems you wanted to jump in with your pickle posse and pick a fight.
