probably be the tipping point that starts an eventual brain drain away from the more backwards states that is unsustainable and they will simply become more backwards and left behind. Currently its more city vs rural, but all states are composed of both cities and rural. Now there will be whole states where intelligent and skilled people will not desire to live (be that doctors, teachers, professionals, etc) and they will simply be pushed further away into their delusion and paranoia.

I don't think it will have much impact at all in terms of people actually having abortions, it will just be harder and more complicated. I do think we will see many more backwards or religious based infringements upon peoples lives that will start to drive away resources and intelligence from the states that suffer under those influences.
