that's just not true
yes, he had a QB but the roster lacked talent and depth everywhere, even moreso than what Drink inherited in 2020. Looks at the numbers of players from the last three Pinkel classes that didn't **** a drop. I don't care to really go deep down that rabbit hole though. I'm not going to change your mind.
The reality is that Drink and Odom have similar conference winning percentages in their careers here and most likely will after this season. If Drink wins 3 SEC games like most predict is even somewhat optimistic this year he would be 11-15 after 3 years in the SEC. Odom was 14-18 after four years.
2023 will tell the tale, but not getting a transfer QB this year had made the margin for error this year pretty ****ing thin.
Odom's fourth year was set up to be the big year and the team **** the bed. Drink cannot afford to have the same thing play out.
