The only thing that stops that, once it reaches go time, are better trained more motivated people to put him down.
The police were not that - they followed a disturbing pattern in these events where they stand down, let the shooter rampage and then SOMETHING, usually not related to the police, stops the shooter.
So train and arm the teachers? Absolutely.
But let's step back before it reaches kinetics, because once it reaches kinetics the shooter has an extreme initial advantage that is difficult to overcome.
How many counselors had a chance to rope this kid in and do something before he went full monster?
How many law enforcement personnel had already brushed up against this kid and saw where it was headed but did nothing?
Where did his $8,000 of weapons come from?
What group has turned Uvalde into a 48-lock down hell-hole overrun by illegal aliens invading the country?
This kid paraded himself on social media - is it really possible the NSA and the multiple AI at their disposal didn't see this huge red flag emanating from his phone?
The number of failures both far and near from the day of the event are massive.
It's almost as if someone in power WANTED this kid in a state of mind, with the training, and with the guns to go do this job.
If you or I wanted to approach Washington DC with malice aforethought I guarantee you we wouldn't make it out of our state - because the powers that be are wholly aligned against conservatives and against Trump supporters.
The only way we could accomplish anything evil is if the system WANTED US TO.
So the bad guys here are numerous, both small and large but the last person to blame, the least responsible, is some underpaid teacher who propped open a door on a hot day in an old red-brick 1950s style elementary school building whose HVAC is probably failing.
That's the guy you've been handed by our criminal corrupt media so you can rage on him and ignore all the culpable individuals with whom the legacy media remain in lockstep.
If you're going to rage, at least pick a real bad guy to beat on - they're pretty easy to find are they not?
