I mean, if that door is closed, there is NO WAY someone could have gotten into the school.

School buildings are not fortresses. Most buildings are not fortresses. The landscape of the Earth is strewn with the collapsed fortresses of conquered civilizations - so even they were built as fortresses those wouldn't work either.

Who controlled the mind of the shooter?

Until folks can confront and handle that reality the shootings will continue - like fish in a barrel.
