None of us know really what to expect out of this group. But first of all I feel at least we have somebody that can bring the ball up the court. That in itself has to be a plus. Nothing against Boogie but he was put in a place he could not succeed.
Second I think this group has much more depth than last year's team and the talent level seems to be higher.
We have still got Kobe and DeCray and they are legitimate SEC players and hopefully this group gives Kobe more help.
Keeping Shaw was a huge plus.
I feel coach Gates and his staff will be able to get players. Looking at their past track record.
IMO the future is a little brighter.
And a good gesture was asking Norm to be an assistant coach.
