but wouldn't the money being paid to athletes for NIL be "new" money - as in money that is currently not being made by any entity involved in college sports? I guess if donors are paying athletes, they may ultimately give less to the athletic program itself but it seems to me that most of the NIL money will be money not currently "in college sports".
