Yes, that 1990 team was outstanding. Some of my best memories of Mizzou basketball are from that time. I was at every home game and watched them lose to CU in the Big 8 tournament at Kemper, but it wasn't as bad as the 2 vs 15 loss to Norfolk St. The 2012 team should have been a 1 seed. The 1990 slide started well before the NCAA tournament, which is why they ended up at 3 seed. The loss to a Kansas State team that was 2 games over .500, a Notre Dame team that was 3 games over .500, and a Colorado team that was 6 games under .500, the last 2 to end the season. It was terrible and foreshadowed the outcome of the NCAA tournament.
