Romania under American control, American troops in the Baltic countries holding joint exercises, supplying Ukraine with weapons and military hardware, overthrow of the Ukraine government in 2014, bona fide Nazi regiment stationed in Mariupol, artillery campaign against the two breakaway regions in the east and cancelation of the Nordstream II pipeline in addition to the West's consideration of offering NATO membership to Ukraine. It was not as if Russia was feeling pressure or anything.
