India is stuck being on the wrong side due to their heavy reliance on buying military goods from Russia. They fear breaking away from Putin and Russian arms deals. India felt USA got too close to Pakistan while trying to manage the Taliban and Afghan war
China can help Russia through the EU/USA financial sanctions but they risk back lash from EU and USA. China fears trade wars and circumventing Russia sanctions will provoke a reaction from the west
All former Soviet bloc nations that are NATO members have to keep the pressure on the USA to honor their defense pledge while Russia tries to flex their muscles.
USA must lead but in a way that doesn’t increase the conflict
It’s a sad time in the world but my MU Poli Sci degree in me is riveted to these unique world events
